We are engaged in running high-tech educational and up-skilling workshops for young professionals, students, and also kids!
In the past, we have run a number of workshops, including:
Introduction to 3D Printing: Our supervisors introduce you to the world of 3D printing. During the workshop, you will learn how to operate a 3D printer and print your own designs.
Introduction to Laser Cutting: We teach you how to use a laser cutter, from the design to the actual laser cutting process. At the end of the day, you will be a laser cutting apprentice, with all of the required skills to use the machine safely.
Build-Your-Own-Rocket: A family-friendly and hands-on working using compressed air and water rockets to teach basic physics principles.
Non-profit Fundraising: We give you practical instructions and tailored advice to start your own non-profit in the Netherlands, based on experience.
Real time detection of 3D printing failures: Learn how to use image processing to detect 3D print failures. The workshop begins with writing a code for real-time image acquisition from a webcam, followed by image processing steps to detect whether an image of the 3D printer is a failed part or not.
Woodworking Basics: Learn how to use the essential tools for woodworking properly and safely, such as table saws, routers, sanders, planers, etc.
Rat Racer: Use Arduino and to code a remote-controlled racing robot with point-of-view camera.
Upcoming workshops include:
